These are some recipes for all those busy mom’s out there, wanting to get the kids involved, with minimal mess.
Rocky Road Fudge
This is perfect for the kids. It doesn’t get that hot for parents to worry about burns, but supervision is still required.
You’ll need:
23 ounces of Milk Chocolate Chips
12 ounces of Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Tbsp Butter
3 cups of Mini Marshmellows
3 cups of Pecans, Peanuts, Walnuts or Dried Fruit
Also to be totally Nut Free, you can double the Marshmellows.
Spray non-stick cooking spray on a casserole dish. Set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips, butter and sweetened condensed milk for 1 minute. Stir and heat for an additional minute. Mix in nuts and marshmellows. Press into the prepared pan. Cover with plastic wrap. Allow to set for 2-4 hours. Cut into squares. Wrap or serve individually.
This is so addictive you’ll have a hard time sticking to your diet. Give these to your neighbors, they’ll love you for it. Test them out and let everyone know how you like them. Give us some hints for variations.
